Audrey Apers (1991, Belgian) studied at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp and subsequently obtained her Bachelor's in Modern Theaterdance at the Amsterdam School of the Arts.
From 2013 until 2017 she danced with SALLY Dansgezelschap Maastricht, LeineRoebana Amsterdam, Arno Schuitemaker and Romeo Castellucci.
During fall of 2017 she was part of Talentlab, a talent development trajectory organized by Toneelgroep Maastricht and ViaZuid and from that moment on she became a supported artist by VIAZUID talentontwikkeling podiumkunsten Limburg.
She is also connected to SALLY Dansgezelschap Maastricht as an artist in recidence of Danslab in the period 2018-2020 where she is receiving artistic and productional support to develop her ideas and artistry.
In 2018 Audrey founded the company C A T A that is providing a platform for developing her artistic practice and distribution of the work. It is short for Creating Art Training Art but also for the word C A T A’strophe admitting with a small wink that there always might be an enormous disaster waiting just around the corner...
Currently Audrey is following a Master in Theatre Directing at RITCS Erasmushogeschool Brussel.
